How to use the advance tax calculator

1

Estimate your annual income

Add salary, business or professional income, rent, interest and capital gains you expect for the whole financial year.

2

Enter TDS already credited

Pull the figure from Form 26AS or the AIS. Advance tax applies only to the liability that TDS does not already cover.

3

Pay by each due date

Follow the instalment schedule shown. Paying the cumulative percentage on or before each date keeps Section 425 interest at zero.
